Entries on the day will be £20 if spaces allow, whether affiliated or not.
An undulating 9.5 kilometre road race along the country roads, starting at 10.30 am from Newent Community School. The route leads out onto the scenic country lanes of Newent, past the old International Birds of Prey Centre on the outskirts of Cliffords Mesne, before looping back to Newent where the race continues onto Foley Road, (previously the largest cul-de-sac in Europe), through the town centre, where many buildings date back to the 13th century, past the half timbered Market House (built in 1668), finally returning to the finish line at the School.
