Two members of the recently formed club Newent Runners took part in the inaugural Cheltenham Half Marathon.
David Jones finished a credible 193rd from the 1,896 starters in a time of 1:36.06 and finished second in the Veteran 55 category.
In her first-ever half marathon Lucy Black finished in under two hours, clocking 1:57.03.
