Seven Sins 2016

On Bank Holiday Monday, three Newent Runners Club members braved the mud to take part in the Seven Sins Run – a seven-mile, seven-hill, and two long water tunnels, challenge.

Philip Rowe came sixth in his category (SVET) in 1.17.03, followed by Chris Barber in 1.37.55 in the same category.

James Griffiths completed the Immortal Seven Sins by running the course back to front and then the other way round – a total of 14 miles and 14 hills.

He finished in 2.29.39 – coming third in his category, and 12th in a field of 31.
