Several Newent runners took part in the Tewkesbury Half on 15th May. Clive Jones was quoted by the Gloucester Citizen:
Newent-based Clive Jones was keen to support the event by running in it.
The experienced athlete and member of Newent Runners, who has completed many marathons and half marathons in the last 30 years, said: “It’s about supporting local clubs and enjoying the locality. It’s perfect conditions, though some may have to take it a bit easier in the heat.”
